Entertainment, Consulting and Trade Show
Corporate Events
Michelangelo's experiences developing business-related magic are broad and
varied. Customized magic, creative prop design, special scripting for presentations and more are a big part of what he and his team do. Here is a sampling of Michelangelo's work:
A dynamic promotional presentation using soda bottles for Coca-Cola.
Showing the power of corporate identity by implementing United Stationers Supply's logo in a dramatic stage illusion and attracting hundreds of buyers to their trade show booth.
Using a company founder's own book, The Color Code by Dr. Taylor Hartman, to create a powerful moment of magic to illustrate important concepts at a team retreat.
We would love to create an amazing and magical presentation for your business too. For more information, contact Michelangelo.

Props, Illusion Design and Scripting
Theatrical Performing and Consulting
When a performing arts group contacts Michelangelo for a
special project, they may be looking for a solution to a staging challenge or for a complete magical routine with Michelangelo in the spotlight. Either
way, what Michelangelo always delivers is pure magic.
For the Utah Symphony, he created a sequence for "The Sorceror's Apprentice" with a broom that not only danced by itself, it also split in two like the broom in
the famous Disney movie Fantasia. Other segments featured appearing girls, vanishing musical instruments (borrowed from the musicians), and a sleeping
"beauty" who floated over the orchestra and vanished in mid-air. Moments later, she reappeared on the upper balcony.
The 2009 Miss Utah Competition needed a special vanishing girl illusion for the departing beauty queen, Kayla Barclay.
A production of Phantom of the Opera calls for several characters to disappear through a secret panel behind a mirror. Michelangelo designed an illusion
for the show that not only allowed the characters to disappear from an elevated platform, the mirror immediately turned to reveal a completely empty stage.
Levitating skulls, a shadow taken apart piece-by-piece, and a spiderwoman who drains the life force from a man (very much alive) to leave only a dessicated
corpse behind. These are a few of the illusions developed for a tour of Odyssey Dance Company's "Thriller" tour. Michelangelo created all of
the magic and illusion sequences and performed with the troupe throughout the run.
Additional consultation projects have included creating a trick shot sequence with multiple ricochets and a breaking glass effect for Annie Get Your Gun,
complete scripts and effects for several magic-themed murder mysteries, illusions and multimedia production for retail DVD products, websites, downloadable content,
and more.
If you have a project requiring special creativity, contact Michelangelo.

Stagecraft
Venues
A magic or illusion show, when
properly done, is one of the most technically demanding type of show to produce. Michelangelo has created and staged
shows in a wide variety of venues. From indoor stages to outdoor amphitheaters, from dedicated venues to touring
productions, Michelangelo not only develops the illusions and effects, he can also bring a wealth of experience to
bear when discussing how a program can be mounted, performed, struck and transported.
Please contact Michelangelo for stagecraft consulting or venue recommendations.
